Qld:Bouyed Beattie ready for hard work
Queensland Premier PETER BEATTIE says he won't be taking voters for granted after hanging
on to his one-seat parliamentary majority with solid wins in two by-elections.
Mr BEATTIE says there's still disillusionment in the electorate and there's hard work ahead.
The ALP easily retained Woodridge on Brisbane's southern outskirts where the party's
state secretary, MIKE KAISER, took just over 51 per cent of the primary vote.
