Qld: Learner driver charged over double fatal accident
BRISBANE, Aug 29 AAP - A learner driver has been charged over a fatal accident in July
that claimed the lives of a Toowoomba mother and her two-year-old daughter.
The 26-year-old man was arrested following the two vehicle accident in Toowoomba, south-east
Queensland, on July 15 which killed the 35-year-old woman and her young daughter.
A police spokeswoman said the man would appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on
September 18.
He is charged with two counts of dangerous driving causing death and one count each
of being a learner unaccompanied and driving without learner plates.
