PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- Ronald W. Mills, Sr., CEO of EncounterCare Solutions, Inc. (Pink Sheets:ECSL), announced today that CyberMedx Medical Systems, an Encounter Care Solutions subsidiary, has received a purchase order from Shands Hospital for a 24-bed wireless ventilator alarm management system.
Ronald R. Barnett, President/CEO of CyberMedx stated, "Our WaveLynx wireless alarm management system is an extremely flexible platform. WaveLynx provides alarm notification for dry contact based alarms in several formats; i.e. enunciator, email, SMS, and pop up windows on configured computers on the network. WaveLynx also provides alarm documentation and video capabilities." Mr. Barnett added, "We are very excited about the Shands installation. It validates our mission at CyberMedx to significantly improve quality patient care and substantially reduce health care costs by maximizing information and communication management technology."
Shands also uses the EncounterPRO(R) Electronic Health Record in its Burn center. EncounterCare Solutions currently has a Letter of Intent to acquire JMJ Technologies, Inc. which owns the EncounterPRO(R) EHR.
