NSW: Police search for murdered woman's son
Police are searching for the son of an elderly woman .. who's been found murdered in
her unit in northern New South Wales.
76-year-old IRENE FIELD was found with stab wounds in the Tweed Heads unit she shared
with her husband NORMAN and their son .. yesterday afternoon.
Police say they want to question her 45-year-old son .. who's also called NORMAN ..
who's missing from their home.
They're concerned for his welfare .. because he suffers from schizophrenia .. and could
become aggressive.
NORMAN FIELD junior's described as being of white European appearance .. about 170
centimetres tall .. with a large build .. fair shoulder-length hair .. and an eagle tattoo
on his shoulder.
He may be wearing a white shirt and dark shorts.
But the public's advised not to approach the man .. and to tell police immediately.
