SANTA ANA, Calif. -- New LTE Picocell and 4G MIMO Active Array Antenna products will lead the lineup of 4G network infrastructure products being debuted at Mobile World Congress next week by Powerwave Technologies Inc. LTE Picocell

Active Array Antenna
The Powerwave multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) Active Array Antenna combines the company's industry-leading remote radio head, software-defined radio, tunable filtering and antenna technologies in an integrated design that can be used for 3G or 4G LTE technologies. The antenna increases basestation coverage up to 100 percent and reduces power consumption by 40 percent, slashing operational costs for network providers while bringing high quality and high performance to users.
65 MHz Instantaneous Bandwidth Remote Radio Head
The new 65 MHz instantaneous bandwidth RRH leverages Powerwave's award-winning software-defined RRH architecture for use in LTE and WiMAX distributed basestations. It provides the industry with the broadest bandwidth RRH and highest efficiency and reliability, as well as flexibility for carriers to deploy new LTE and WiMAX networks during the transition from 2G/3G.
iCC Internet Commanded Combiner
The iCC Internet Commanded Combiner is the industry's first filter combiner to enable deployment of LTE services alongside 3G networks, and also the first solution that features remote configuration and electronic tuning via the Internet. It is a major advancement from conventional filter combiners that have extremely restricted flexibility in adapting filter response because they are either fixed-tuned or manually tuned.
