NSW: The NSW snow report for Wednesday August 8, 2007
SYDNEY, Aug 8 AAP - The NSW snow report for Wednesday, August 8:
THREDBO: No new snow. Cover will start the day hard-packed before softening. Powder
chasers should head up top for windblown drifts. Cloudy day with strong winds forecast
and a top temperature of 2C expected. All lifts expected to open but some may be put on
wind-hold.
PERISHER: No new snow. Cover is firm with some wind-blown stashes. Current temperature
is -2C. Overcast and gusty day expected. 50 lifts expected to operate but some may be
put on wind-hold.
SELWYN: No new snow. Slopes are in great shape. Cloudy day with a top temperature of
5C expected. Up to 11 lifts are expected to operate depending on the wind.
CHARLOTTE PASS: No new snow. Cover is firm-packed and wind affected. A fine day is
expected with a top temperature of 4C. Five lifts operating.
